Doug Egge started his first successful business with his brother at age 16, offering cedar shake roof cleaning and treatment services in the Seattle area.  The business allowed him to work only summers and generate enough income to pay for his college education.  From that point he realized he was an entrepreneur at heart. Over the years he has owned multiple businesses and understands the rewards, complexities and challenges of being self-employed.

In 1999 Doug entered the financial arena as a partner in a firm that structured asset protection plans for affluent clients.  In 2003 he sold his interest in that company and started Platinum Lifestyles, LLC, an insurance agency that specializes in the design and support of policies that take full advantage of the Infinite Banking Concept (IBC). Over the years he has helped dozens of clients build a solid foundation of wealth using IBC and takes pride in being accessible and responsive to his clients’ needs.

Doug has an eight year old daughter, Brianna, and enjoys tennis, photography and traveling in his free time. He is a 1987 graduate of the University of Washington's Michael G. Foster School of Business with concentrations in accounting and marketing.
